650 ml of tylenol.
Dont take cold medications. Just because tylenol cold sayds tylenol it doesnt mean thats all thats in it. You cant take cold medications when you're pregnant. Most of them, even the 'safe' ones have showed up in studies to have caused birth defects.
The BEST thing you can do, and please PLEASE take my advice, is to get some saline nasal spray and use it three times a day. Actually squirt it in your nose so it runs down your throat a little. It sounds gross (blow your nose before and after) but you have no idea how much better it works than any cold medication you can get.
Besides, cold medications dont make colds go away, they only prolong how long they last, since they keep your body from doing the things it needs to to expell it, such as coughing or flushing the virus out with mucus. You cannot medicate a virus.
Take some tylenol for the pain, drink fluids and PLEASE use a nasal spray, i found out the hard way that its the best thing to use, especially when pregnant.
For the love of God, sudafed and anything contained pseudoephedrine hasnt been on the approved list in years. Its exteremely unhealthy for an unborn baby. You cant even get infants cold medication with it in it... and for good reason. Any decongestant is dangerous to the unborn, and infants.

The only thing you can take is REGULAR strength Tylenol to bring the fever down and help with aches and pains. They really aren't sure about the effect other medications might have on the baby so they don't recommend any other medications. Just get plenty of rest and consume lots of liquids. Get Well Soon.

You're in luck...I just got over a cold, and I'm about 6 months pregnant. I was given a prescription, but the doctor said that it contained the following: Benadryl, Robitussin DM, and the stuff in Afrin nasal spray. He told me I could take those for 5 days before getting the prescription filled, and they worked like a charm! I thought it was ok to take Sudafed, but he told me it had been off the "okay" drug list for pregnant women. However, you might want to just call your doctor to make sure. HOPE THIS HELPS!

Regular strength Tylenol for the pain. If you want a home remedy for the congestion, I have one, but you probably won't like it. Chile (which in this case means cayenne peppers) is known to clear up congestion. However, you may be on a diet that prohibits spicy foods. Best to ask your doctor or pharmacist what's on the current safe list.

I was told to only take Tylenol, but that didn't work for me...I had this stuff that I would put in my bathwater for my sinuses, so I dissolved it in a big bowl of hot water and sat over it to inhale the vapors..I felt so much better after that..I did it a couple more times and it helped me get rid of that cold. I can't remember the exact name of it, but they sell it at Wal-mart in the section with the bath salts. it comes in a clear jar with a brown label and it says sinus relief on it.....it actually is bath salts.......take care and let us know how it goes.

I have three kids and was told not to take anything while I was pregnant. Not Aspirin, not Tylenol, nothing. It all crosses the placenta and can affect the baby's development.
