On a humorous note there is a book called "What to Expect When Your Wife is Expecting" it's written to be funny but it also provides information. It's a tension breaker for the father to be. Bought it for my husband when i was pregnant with my first. I laughed so hard i thought i was going to go into labor. Congratulations and good luck with everything.

"The New Father
A Dad's Guide to the First Year"
I bought that book for my husband and I ended up reading it more than he did. It has some great stuff in it and I went by the "what to take to the hospital" list in that book instead of what was in "What to expect when you're expecting". It was a great book.....not to knock the other one, you should get both.
congrats.

Essential Guide to Pregnancy and Birth. Honestly, I don't know of too many written by one male, but this one was written by 2 female Doctors, and one male. I have read it. Very informative. Good parenting advice too. I would suggest going to Barnes and Noble. There are alot of books there that we haven't looked at.

I've seen a few parody books for the dads, I don't know about anything to really give him some insite.
Go to Borders, Barns and Noble, etc and ask there. There should be a great supply.
Congrats!!!
btw, my favorite pregnancy book was Vicky Iovine's "The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy". HILARIOUS and VERY informitive!!!!!

My husband got one called "The Idiots Guide to Being an Expectant Father". He liked it very much- is aimed specifically at guys.... has advice, tips, and insight into how to deal with pregnancy. Pretty much hits everything you will have to deal with. Good luck!

Emergency Childbirth (Gregory White I think)
It is like 20 pages long but totally worth it for the peace of mind it gave my hubby.
