In my math class i have to create a board game heres the project

Develop a board game to practice math skills. The game should be fun and creative but also teach a specific math skill or skills. Examples are money, time, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, graphing, fraction, ect. Think of a creative name for the game. the game must have an actual board to move pieces around. It should have dice or a spinner to determine how many spaces to move on the board. It requires you to write a rule book describing how to play the game and how the winner is determined. Be creative in developing your skill and theme of your game to make it where people will want to play. DON'T COPY A GAME YOUR ALREADY HAVE. - Paper that my teacher gave us

Okay. First: choose one skill. Second: use the random elements (spinners, dice, etc.) to set up the problems to be solved. Third: after you have the gameplay worked out tack on a theme. (Pirates are hot now and trains are a perennial favorite.)

You way want to go to a teachers' supply store. A well-stocked store would have fraction dice, decimal dice, spinners, play money and game pieces. My friend, James Koplow, sells a lot of of the stuff you could use: http://www.koplowgames.com/

you could make a game that you have to answer a math question and that will be how many spaces you can move if you get it right. If you get it wrong than you move that many spaces back.
