you can't unless it's a CD RW. If it's just a CD R then it means it can only be recorded onto. But one little tip, there is a way to burn OVER files which are already burned onto a CD R. You just name the new file the same thing as the old one, and it will let you replace it. But there's no actual way to delete files from a CD R.
With CD RW you just go to start, my computer, then find where it's located, then open the drive which holds the CD RW, then you can easily right click and delete. or highlight and hit the delete key.

You are probably burning the disks too fast. I recommend burning at the slowest speed that your'e program will allow. As to saving the disk make a good recording the first time.

Depends on the disk you used to burned the songs on.Cd-R disks you can't erase.I you burned them on a CD-RW disk then you can.
Place disk in drive.Goto My Computer right click on drive with CD-RW in it.Then click format.Doing this will erase the disk.

Unless they are CD-RW, you can not erase a CD you have already burned.
Use them as coasters, or shiny Frisbees.
