Because you are not envious enough of them. They love to be feared or loved or the center of attention, but they can not handle being just another person.
Good job! Keep it up!

How do you know they hate you, have they specifically told you this or do you just assume they do because they don't include you? Sometimes I assume things without actually knowing for sure, this is called an Irrational belief.
The popular crowd though, what do they have that you want, that is desirable? Are they really all that great? True friends who will last forever or just some kids who live high on the fact that they think they are better than others but in reality, they would backstab "friends" in a heartbeat.
If you just be yourself, be a friend to others, that is a way to live. Not to be better than others and exclude people. Like you are being excluded. These "popular" people usually aren't TRUE friends.
However, I think you can be. Good luck. Remember, it's better to be respected than to be popular.

Popular kids are a joke. If you think I am kidding, print this answer out and look at what I wrote 20 years from now.
The social elite, the ones with the "right" clothes, the "right" haircuts, the cool cars. They don't even like each other. Find your own friends and have a good time in school. Snub the snobs..they aren't worth your time. You wanna know why?
In 20 years, they are all going to be divorced, fat, driving 12 year old cars, working at Wal Mart as a cashier. Even their own kids will be ashamed of them.
So why worry about what some loser thinks of you? Next time you walk past one of them in the hall, just give them a smirk and keep going.

Hard to say.
Could be the girls are jelaous. Any girl who is pretty could be seen as a threat.
Do they really hate you? Or do they just ignore you?
Either way, I dont think you should let it worry you.
IF its true they probally have a really petty reason that you are probally better off not knowing.
You will have the last laugh. Everyone I know who has been to their high school reunion has found the most popular kids end up being the ones with the dead end jobs - and looking really bad. Their rein of terror does not continue beyond high school!
Good luck to you.

Don't worry about it. Same thing happened to me when i was at school 10 years ago. Just study hard and gain best friends through others who aren't 'popular'. At your reunion in 10 years you will probably be more successful and happy then them- this happened to me! Most of the 'popular' kids ended up on drugs, pregnant young, in jail or a dead end job.
'Popular' kids need someone to put down because they don't want to see the faults in themselves- they are inscure. So they aren't worth knowing.
Good luck with your education!

Possily because they're jealous that you're smarter than they are, or maybe they're just the type to judge off little things and are petty or materialistic. Just remember this: The popular kids now likely won't be the popular kids later on. Nerds will rule the world, and the "cool" groups will be working at Burger King.
There's no need to accociate with people who don't like you anyway, so don't worry about it so much.
Good luck!

At some point in life, everyone wishes they were popular. Don't buy into it. Being popular won't make you happy, trust me. Truthfully, the popular kids are really not as happy with their life as they think they are. Most anyway. You don't need to be popular to be happy. In fact, having great friends that love you for who you are and not your clothes is the best way to go. With the popular crowd, you have to watch every move you make and you don't want that. That definitly won't make you happy.
If they hate you, it's their problem. Just ignore them.

sometimes kids can just be cruel...it doesn't mean they hate you though
i'm guessing that you're in middle school/junior high, and let me tell you that the same "popular" kids are not always the popular ones later. it will end up being less about clothes or hair and more about how friendly you are to people around you
it sounds cheesy but its true, so don't worry too much about those kids...just find a niche of your own!

They hate competitions. Be yourself. Wait til your class reunion and find out what they do for living? Some will end up in a dead end job or even unemployed. Popular does not mean success life after graduation.

You are probably a threat to one or some of them and therefore they are all ganging together to 'hate' you. If one dislikes you for anything, then they all will - cause if they aren't picking on you or someone else outside their group, then they start picking on people within their group. And nobody wants that, their biggest fear is to be the center of negative attention within their own group. Don't let them get you down. You don't fit their mold - or you would already be in the "IN" crowd - so make your own crowd and make your own happiness.

Yeah whoever said high school age is the best time of our lives was just plain lying. It's a tough time. Just stick with your good friends and ignore everyone else. All you need is a few good friends to get you through high school and five years from now you won't remember any of it.
