but i can see how its to our benifit to be taxed on what we buy where we go what we do say and then all over again when we throw away the wrapper so some s.a.p can have a new merc and expensis ability to make us homeless jobless and enevitably pay tax on our grave

I don`t think you were talking about `state benefits` were you? By `state` I think you meant the country or government. If that is the case, then the state should be there for us, we elect the people to run it for us, hopefully in a manner which is both beneficial and pleasing to us. So it should make our life on this earth as pleasurable as possible and provide things like medical care and housing and indeed welfare for those unable to provide for themselves. The working people of the state pay taxes to finance the utilities that the state provides.

The state should help to a certain extent, but if your able-bodied, then you should work, there should not be a need to live on the state.
