It sounds like you have an acromial-clavicular sprain, or simply a seperated shoulder. Look in the mirror and see if there is a noticable difference from your other AC joint. Not that big of a deal. In athletics I see this all the time. Try to avoid any activities that would depress your shoulder. When pain allows, make sure to take your arm through it's entire range of motion so the ligament's repair materials line up correctly. Have fun.

if you dislocated your sholder you woudlnt be able to move it without extreme pain

when you dislocate your sholder, the carteladge that holds it in its socket is broken. When that is broken, then you have a high risk of re-dislocating it.

But its very very very painful and probably in your case, is not dislocated. It certanly dosent feel like a bruise!

I think you might have just pushed it too far back. Last summer i fell off a tree and i bent my rist backwards too far, I could barley move it for like a week, and i thought i broke it but it got better.

go to the hospital to check for injuries by a physician
some people have a high level of threshold to pain so you may have caused more damage than you think , and these things just can't be diagnosed over the net, limited description isn't enough . you should undergo proper examination by a physician who will also take a full history as well and may get an x-ray of your shoulder done.
be more careful next time.

Oh ouch! Go to the hospital--and I am not a person that tells people to go to the hospital unless it is a necessity. If this is not treated properly you can have further damage later. Your shoulder has a rotor cuff (hope I spelled that correctly) if that is damaged it will develop calcium deposits. You will get to the point where you cannot raise your arm up.

when you dislocate your shoulder you actually have to go have it popped back. you could have a ac seperation or a tear in your rotator cuff. the ac seperation can make your shoulder move or pop.
