well thats preatty dangerous and i would recommend it, but if you must, i think the best way would be a high index lense with very high zoom, or if your dad is actually in the wild i would say use a mounted camera on some robotic device, because in person thats preatty dangerous

Use the double sided type, like for carpets, and mirrors.
