The Greek gods were sort of "adopted" into the Roman pantheon as the Roman Empire rose, and when Constantine converted the Roman Empire to Christianity, both sets of gods fell "out of favor".
There are, however, modern-day Greeks who still worship the Olympian gods, and have recently received legal permission to practice their faith in Greece. I would imagine that there are also practitioners of ancient Roman traditions and religions.

Ah but you see the Bible is also considered a myth by those that do not hold it to be the holly book of the one god. As a polytheist I believe that the Greek and Roman Gods and Goddesses are real. In my path I do not worship them, but there are people that do. The Gods and Goddesses that I personally worship are from prechristian Ireland, I know others that worship Egyptian gods, Babylonian gods, Norse gods, etc,...

Christianity was forced down the throats of the people by Constantine when he made Christianity the " State Religion of Rome. " this allowed the Christian Cult to achieve status as an

their human creator did not make them awesome enough.
They were over taken by technology or new discoveries along
the way, just as religions are now fighting their last battles
against today's technology. In cyber space each one is his/her
own god. Just don't forget to pay for the service.
