It depends on what you want to do with it.
Most breeds with a thourobred cross in it are very good, but almost everybreed has been susesfull in jumping. When you are looking at a jumper, check the angle of the shoulder, you want a big angle for better jumping ability. This can be found in most breeds exept warmbloods. They are mostly fitted for dressage though some are amazing jumpers.
My horse is a TB QH cross and i jump him 4'6.

Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds because they have strong legs and good balance but it's not always the breed that counts but the temperment and experience of the horse like for example I rode a 14hh pony that absolutely loved jumping and was excellent at it and now I ride a 16hh thoroughbred who is a bit nervous when jumping although she's coming along wonderfully.

I think that Dutch Warmbloods are really good. There used to Harry DeLayer who rode Dutch-bred horses and they were amazing! He was called the Galloping Grandpa.

Thoroughbreds are great too.

Warmbloods seem to be the winningest horses in the last ten years at the uppper level shows.

almost any light breed could jump but horses that are strong in the legs should work. Like dutch warmbloods and thoroughbreds and arabians

Any breed thats light on their feet. No drafts or anything like that but I have seen a lot of good horses for jumping. Lots of different breeds.

I like any horse with Native Dancer in their line. I've seen quite a few, and all were good movers and great tight, round jumpers. Of course it doesn't hurt that my horse goes back to ND, and he is wonderful.

Most Hunter/Jumper people I know don't have a favorite breed, but have a few favorite horses that they like to see in a line. Many of these "favorites" were not even jumpers themselves, but sire great talent. Rugged Lark comes to mind, many around here love him, but he only showed at Quarter Horse shows.

Well Warmbloods know their stuff and do it well, but if u want a horse that will do it well but do it with you, i would suggest getting a Thoroughbred.
