My parents said that before christmas day, when the sales come, they will buy me either a ps3 or xbox 360 my choice (since i do not celabrate christmas). so i just wanted to know which is better because i dont want to make a dumb choice of selecting a console i dont like.

PS3 has more, and will have more new game titles available....you can play PS2 games on PS3 as well.
