A year ago, I heard this song on the radio (Rock/Alternative/Pop station) which started out with a classical sounding piano piece for the first 20-30 seconds, and then it switched into a hard rock/alternative piece. I have been trying to figure out what this song is for the past year but I've been unsuccessful. Thanks for the help!

After listening to the beginning of The Sacrament by HIM it was also my first impression to hear something familiar and I agree with aeroman it sounds pretty similar to that part of Toccata & Fugue by Bach. So I would say it is a rock remix of that part.
