I always wait until the 2nd Sunday before Xmas, but, my neighbors/friends have their tree up now, we do you put yours up, and take down, I take mine down on New Years' Day.

Christmas tree should go up immediately after Thanksgiving, and should come down within a week after the new year.

Mine is more of a Winter Wonderland Tree that I put up before Thanksgiving & plan to leave it up thru some of the winter months. It's a pre-lighted white tree decorated with blue beads, snowflakes & icicles. It looks pretty even when it's off. Something new I tried this year. :) Otherwise, we have done the traditional up after Turkey Day & down after New Years Day.

Next weekend lights go up and about 10 days before xmas tree goes up. Have a good xmas!

we get our tree the day after thanksgiving it takes us a day or two before we get it in the house and lights on it and what not. Then taking it down depends on how well its holding up. some times a few days after christmas some times new years

I saw people with thier tree up like the begining of November. Mine will be up when ever I get a free moment, and down January 1st.

Up anytime after Thanksgiving. Down around New Year's day.

We put up our tree the day after my step-son's birthday (Dec 6) and we usually take it down a week into the new year. Everything looks so bare!

We used to put ours up one week before Christmas.
My Mom always said you have to take the tree down on New Years day or it is bad luck for the year: also you have to eat some black eyed peas that day too

I don't put up a tree.
However, I have friends who put up a tree on Christmas eve and take it down on January 6th
