that the questions on this site have become more and more juvinial...that intelligent questions use to be the norm..but now they are the exception....why has this happened??

Could it be that when people who actually have a legitimate question post it they are bombarded with trash? And those who are looking for real questions to answer, they have to wade through piles of crap to get to the real ones?
I think people may just be getting fed up with it all. And it may be my imagination, but Yahoo doesn't seem to do much to get rid of the people who spew hatred and trash.

Since yahoo is terrible with taking care of the people who spread hate through Yahoo Answers a lot of people have left. I am dying to find a new more intelligent site.

I think this site has dumbed down a lot. I also feel that it has to do with some of the main intelligent people being suspended. I miss Tracer and Ashley.

Since the launch of Yahoo! Answers, many people took advantage of other people's intelligence but by each day that passes by more belligerent people come and talk about more meaningless things like how long is your penis? and other stuff like that. Probably to this they attract peeping toms who want to see nude pics on a webers 360 page or people who just want to waste time and cause arguments and other stuff like that.

Life is a pendulum. It can only swing so far in one direction before it swings back. In this case, there was too much intelligence here, so stupid people swarmed the site and the pendulum swung back.
It should get better, if my theory holds true.

I think as hatared has taken over much of this sight, more and more people are finding it amusing, away to suppress others and discriminate.
(we will just continue on with intelligent questions, intelligent answers and I shall not ignore the ignorant but attempt to educate about discrimination and etc..)

I know, I know. Especially in this particular forum. Typically, the questions seem to fall into the I HATE GAY PEEPLE WHY AR THEY SO EVIL category. (We're looking at you, Olga.) I think it's best to ignore them rather than post replies telling them how bigoted they are. It's exactly the kind of response they're looking for. Better to let their posts die on their own.

It seems to happen much more on the weekend...I guess the kids are allowed to stay up later.
