I like both really but seeing how I have 4 cats and one dog...she is a great dog by the way..a Golden Retriever named Sunshine...especially in the last months since I adopted the two youngest after their mom died, I would say I am more of a cat person than dog...

Cats. They meet me at the door, meow & roll on the floor. They are playful & funny. They sleep with me. They are soft & quiet except for their purr although some are quite the talkers. They respond to soft talk & caresses. Some are grouches & I find that charming. They let you know when they're mad at you (& I usually know why). I like dogs, grew up with them, but a stray cat won me over.

Well I do have both. I think that I like cats better but only for one reason, they are a little more independent. You can leave then for even a couple of days be themselves and as long as they have the litter pan, water, and food they will be fine.
