I remember singing for fun in church when I was at a very young age and yet I never thought about becoming a singer. People always said I had a good voice, but some of my notes are out of tune. But an even bigger problem is that when I sing, I always sing in my throat and not through the stomache. It had became a habit. Is there a way that can be solved?

You're best bet is to get a microphone and a recorder/recording software. Record yourself and fix what you know sounds bad.

But even before that, get yourself a teacher.Nothing helps more than having an experienced vocal teacher guide you through the steps, and practice your *** off. It sounds like you want to be a "superstar", and the only advice is that you get good while your young, hollywood is not kind to those old and ugly.

Take vocal lessons from a professional. Might be expensive, but what you learn from them is leaps and bounds better than the average vocals teacher.
