what do shooting gaurds do in a game.. do they get to make a lot of baskets? sorry i need help? are shooting gaurds good?

shooting guards are like the second point guards
they help bring the ball up the floor and pass
they should be quick and fast

Yes, shooting gaurds are pretty good players. Some players that are shooting gaurds in the NBA include: Kobe Bryant, LeBron James (he might be a small forward), and Tracy McGrady (he might be a small forward as well). It usually depends on the matchups for what position they play.

my opinion the SG( shooting guard) is one of the most important position out on the floor. usually great SG's in the NBA are great at shooting and driving toward the basket. Also some set of plays are made JUST for the SG. In basketball terms they are the guys that mainly shoot & score thus the name

On most teams they do make the most shots. The shooting guard gets the ball passed to her and dribbles it up the court, their job is mostly to go in 4 some lay-ups.

shooting gaurds are usually the 2cd point gaurd they r there if they need help or r in trouble i play this position on my bball team and in my opinion they r very important

shooting guards are good, they shoot, duh
but not all shooting guards are suppose to shoot all the time
they are a combination of pointguard also
