my friends tease my brother about his favore color, pink. is pink a girly color?

its just a light shade of red...just another color but culture has made it to be a girly color

He can do whatever he wants and if your so called friends go on teasing him, why be friends with them? Okay, don't start lecturing me about different opinions. As other people are stating, the whole concept of boys wearing blue and girls wearing pink, is just ridiculous. I wear blue jeans and blue shirts all the time, I have blue earrings and I wore blue eye shadow before! I know lots of places selling pink shirts for males, if they like it and want to wear it, why is it gay? All it means is that guys like pink. I like black, blue, and green! Does that mean I'm not a girly girl? I'm a touch of everything and that makes me different - and I'm wondering right now if it is bad!

Actually in France, (I forget which time period but I think it was Baroque or around then?) blue was a feminine color and pink was a masculine color. Over the years, it was changed to the opposite. So it your brother likes pink, then what's the problem if it's not hurting anyone?

different shades of pink can be considered a girly color, but if he likes HOT pink, definetely not. lighter, paler, pinks are more of a girly color, but dark and deeper pinks are not quite as girly. hope that helps.

Well, pink is not completely a girl's colour, it is also a colour that boys can wear. I have seen many men in pink t'shirts and shirts. Believe me, with the right skin type, pink looks wonderful.

For years pink=girl and blue=boy. But girls wear blue all the time. These are just silly things that our society goes by. Tell your brother to keep wearing pink.

it depends what shade of pink.
light pinks, hot pinks, bubblegum color is all girly but other pinks arent.
and its ok for a guy to like pink
and even emo people like pink (with black tho)

sometimes. if it is a light pink, yes, if it is a hot pink, not as much. im not the girlyest person but i still love hot pink. put on some camo pants and a hot pink shirt. it will look hot.
