Oh, man, it sticks to the LID, I can tell you that! I've seen some magazines that recommend putting a nail in the glue opening to stop the glue from drying out in the opening. You pull the nail out, and voila, free-flowing glue.

I think the previous answer is right -- glue has to dry out to stick to stuff. Think about it -- you use a little Elmer's, and you still have a grace period of a few seconds to peel off the paper and re-position it. But when it's dry, that's it. Stuck forever.

Well,#1 is becouse it has a cap on the bottle, which prevents air from getting to it,so it can't cure.#2 the glue doesn't contain Ethybenzene,Xylene ,Naptha, or what ever the ingregients are that makes it bond to slick surfaces.

I actually just learned this recently on Oprah... there is no way for the air to get in the bottle to evaporate the sticky molocules. but when you put it on paper the air dries it ou causing it to stick to whatever it's on.

simply put, the glue you are using won't stick, cause the glass isn't porous, so nothing for it to hold to.
