ok i hope and their should be a rematch for the national championship with Michigan and Ohio state, these are my reasons why i think michigan is the 2nd best team in the country ,USC lost to Oregan State Beavers....and the only lost michigan had was by 3 points to the best team in the country and they have a heisman QB and another heisman canidate WR and gamebreaker,alot of people say USC lost that game because Dwayne Jarrit wasnt healthy....mario manningham was injured for 4 weeks and michigan did not let up and dont say that dwayne jarret is more important to usc than mario is to michigan because mario had 9 tds in only 6 games and led the league in TD catched weeks after he got injured, dont say that USC should definitaly go because they murdered notre dame by 20 because arent we forgetting about how michigan beat notre dame by 26 in the beginning of the season, these are my reasons why michigan is the second best team in the country(isnt that who should play in the title game?)

ok maybe i am wrong but that is my opinion and it is out of my hands.......usc is a great team dont think i dont know, but i just cant beleive they are the best team in the country.....it is all about timing...if michigan played ohio state in the begging of the season and played notre dame at the end and USC played its big games in the begging of the season then it might be a no doubt michigan bid or it could be another team or maybe all the teams might not have the same record......either in the rose bowl or national chamiponship game......GO BLUE

and michigan did have shots to win that game because in the begging henne overthrew manningham when he was wide open and i truely beleive that michigan can beat usc head to head but i guess people dont want to see the second best team in the national championchip for some reason

I hate the BCS. It just provides cover for those who don't want a playoff. The championship game should be between the two best teams regardless off who people WANT to see. I see nothing that tells me USC is better than Michigan. Michigan was right there with the best team in tha country on their turf. Michigan blew out ND at their house. USC lost to an unranked Oregon State team.

All your points are valid. However that being said, Michigan had their shot at Ohio State, USC did not have their shot. The strength of schedule is similar. And finally, rematches very rarely live up to the hype of the first game. If OSU did not turn the ball over 3 times, they would have won that game by 10-17 points.

your arguments for michigan to play for the national championship are lame:
just who a team loses to is not the only determining factor.
michigan is a good team, but so is USC. michigan had their chance, but failed.
yes the game was close
yes michigan would have won if they played in ann arbor
but that doesn't matter. michigan did not win their conference, which is a requirement of teams to play in the national championship game. also, it would not be fair to ohio state.
you just gotta get passed the fact that michigan came up short and someone else is going to get a shot at ohio state.
maybe next year for you guys...

The team that should be in the big game is......... FLORIDA!!!
The only reason being that they are in the SEC, the toughest conference in the whole nation. Florida has played Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, and they are about to play Arkansas, All of those teams at one point being in the top (except for Alabama). Strength of schedule my friend
