I can read articles in Mandarin, Italian & English websites, but I can't read Mandarin & Italian emails...

emails from Lycos.com. What should I do inorder to read those emails without changing to my other email address?

I have no idea why Italian e-mails get screwed - they are written using Latin alphabet, right? Or do you simply mean some special characters?

For Mandarin - change the encoding of your browser (or mailer program) manually. On menu it'll be probably inside the "View" item. Look for something like "Character encoding." You might have to add first the encoding you need to the shortlist.
