Of all the rights given to us from documents such as the Canadian Charter of rights and Freedoms, or the American Bill of Rights, which do you personally value the most and why?

The Right To Bear Arms. Because without it, we couldn't protect ourselves from enemy invaders or from robbers breaking in our houses, etc.

Considering all the other Rights from the Bill of Rights was effectively abolished with the Military Commissions Act of 2006, I'll take the one right from that great document that we have left. I don't have to quarter soldiers, the best Right of all because its the last one left.

Freedom of Speech. I lived in the Middle East for a time and it was scary how little info was permitted and god forbid if you spoke up against the gov't. The only time I saw my ex-husband really freaked out was when I made a negative comment on the leader outside of our home.

The Right to Remain Silent, because if you don't remain silent the police will blow what ever you say way out of proportion.

the second amendment is by far the most important , without guns we are at the mercy of not only the government but anyone else who wants to so us in,so without guns how can we enforce the others?

i prefer pursuit of happiness thats in the declaration of independence. i think that it is stymied by the bill of rights.
