Last night's game, if I'm not mistaken, Latendresse was on the top line along with Koivu and Ryder. Kovalev was on Samsonov's and Plekanec's second line last night.

at the start of the season the top line was with Koivu, Higgins and Ryder then the second line was with Kovalev, Plekanec and Samsanov. when Higgins went down Latendresse moved up to the top line and you will see him go up on the top line from time to time when they are struggling up front when they will need the size of Latendresse.

As of the 25th of November, he was still on the Koivu-Ryder line. However, in that game, he only played 14 shifts compared with Koivu's 22 and Ryder's 20, so he may be in the process of being phased out. The shift chart on NHL.com shows he was on the ice with Koivu and Ryder in the beginning of the game, but as it went on he played less and less.

Yes, he is. But when Higgins comes back he definately won't be. He's been quiet as of late, which is a problem cuz if he can't produce on the 1st line, where else is he going to produce? They're stuck with him for the rest of the season so they better find a way to get him going again. Or else Carbo should put him back on the 4th line with Begin and let him focus on his defensive play. Since he moved to the 1st line he stopped hitting which is bad. They need him to be a power forward so he must be a strong, physical presence.

He's still on the first line. He hasn't been on the power play as much. Kovalev took his place last game. He got a couple of great scoring chances past few games, but hasn't been able to connect on them.
