I used to have a MySpace, right before it became popular (I do that for a lot of things) but took it off a weeks ago because I needed to do something better with my "free time" but I would try and understand that just because you have "friends" on MySpace doesn't mean you really are ever going to hang out with them in real life. What is the point then?
If you still want to get a lot of "friends" on MySpace, just get one of those whoring things. You can find them on a few of those websites dedicated to customizing your MySpace page.

The best way, besides actually knowing all of the people, is to chat and post in forums and find other people who also want alot of friends. Also ask all of your online friends if they have myspace accounts and add them.

a better idea is to make some friends in REAL life....then go back and add them to your myspace thingy....
