I have been waxing for last four years...first I waxed and it hurt like hell well maybe because i waxed my whole face and i ended up crying hehehehe but after two times i got used to it and it doens't grow back that fast either i always get compliements on the shape of my eyebrows this might be a steryotype but philipino ladies do the best job they can really shape your eyebrows and i used to go two times a month but now i go once i clean up in the middle of my appointments with pluckers. i also found this great product to clean up with wax strips that you can buy from wal mart they already have wax on it and you dont' need to heat it up they are by the makeup department where they have the natural stuff like wax and face bleach...

There is a method using string that is much less harsh on your skin (seeing as it is not burning hot stuff being poured on your skin) and will last longer than plucking. They can really shape your eyebrows using the string method. If you do not have time to do either wax, plucking or string you can always just apply to light coloured eyeshadow right under your eyebrows and this will make them appear more shaped and uplifted.

I always had thick eyebrows, until I got my first wax. I was 18 when I did my first one. It hurt like crazy, but its very addicting. I wax abt once a month, and tweeze in between.

Yes, if you want to shape your eyebrows, it's much easier for someone else to do it. I like to get mine waxed occasionally, then I just try to keep up with the tweezing as it grows back in.

Get them waxed like twice a year and in between you can probably maintain them by tweezing, that way you can get them shaped but then follow the pattern to retouch.

I would recommend getting them waxed at a reputible salon. Not only will they remove all the hairs, but they know how to shape the brows so they look good. They can make your brows look clean, but still natural.

I much prefer waxing. I would let someone do them for me. If you're a beginner, the home waxes are painful and a headache!

Personally I think thick bushy eyebrows are sexy.
Makes you look youthful and vivacious!
