How do you put an endcap back on a softball bat?

You should get a big pot and boil some water,stick the bat in it ,it should expand enough to put the cap back on.

if an endcap comes off, the bat is no longer usable
you can put it back on, but it would be hard
also the "pop" in the bat is gone
i recommend buying a new bat

just tap it back on with a hammer
