If the US were to attack Iran to try & stop them from producing nuclear weapons (that could be used to cause a holocaust in Israel), but instead the US attack caused WWIII to break out & cause a worldwide nuclear holocaust was the US attack on Iran really worth it?

Probably Israel because Israel is closer.

I'd say Israel, but only by a little. If Iran can make a nuke, they can either launch it at Israel or put it in a suitcase and try to ship it to America. Hitting Israel would be easier. But no matter which they hit, it would be the start of World War III, the Middle East vs the West, Islam vs judeo-Christianity. Which is apparently what the jihadists want. For some odd reason, they seem to think they can win such a war.

The non secular enthusiasts who might have their hands on the button of an Iranian nuclear arsenal are purely approximately as volatile because of the fact the psychopaths in value in Korea. yet they don't have China sitting on them discouraging them from going over the sting. as quickly as Iran can attack Israel with nuclear weapons they are going to. so a approaches the Israeli movements have been limited to cyber assaults on the Iranian nuclear application. There could have been some clandestine stuff occurring that has no longer hit CNN, yet so a approaches no longer something as blatant as a actual attack. A plenty extra in all probability state of affairs for a actual strike at Iran may be empowering the Israelis to take the action. Iran concerns the leaders in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States sufficient that they could even make centers obtainable to the Jews to launch this type of strike. The "decent" tale may be that the Israeli AF "snuck" via their airspace, yet Israeli planes don't have the style to make this type of strike promptly from Israel. The Israelis are unlikely to try this without the understanding of the US, Saudi Arabia, and (probably) the leaders of the Gulf no longer likely. yet then, it rather isn't any longer likely that the two the individuals or the Saudis have been as shocked in eighty one as they pretended to be the two.

Those within range of Iran's missiles and those who are within driving distance for the delivery of dirt material for a killer dirty bomb. Both of these threats are real for Israel, and not real for the United States.
The strange thing is that Israeli's spy organizations have feed Bush red hot fake information since 9-11.
It is Israel who is pushing for the US to hit Iran, and it was Israel who pushed Bush to attack Iraq because of Iran and its activities. And, it is Israel who needs to be somehow forced to the peace table to make the concessions they need to make short of leaving the Middle East with the appropriate guarantees that America will come to her defense if necessary.
That guarantee can be fortified by Israel promising to over time get rid of her nukes as other Middle Eastern Countries get rid of their Nuclear bombs and resources to make bombs. The UN must do the inspecting insure compliance and NATO must be involved for policing issues.
It is the making of a peace deal that makes a lot more sense than this constant war we are now suffering through.

Israel. They are closer & Much smaller. The reason we should take out Iran's nukes is that we can do it with conventional weapons. I doubt that Israel can do the job without using their own nukes.

The whole world but Iran would definitely be looking over their shoulder. The US has the ability to shoot down missiles but other some countries can't including Iran.

I do not see much of a difference. Israel is our ally. we are not just going to leave them stuck in the ME without help. And I think that Israel would say the same about us.

Neither one. This is a fake question. Iran does not have, or will have a nuclear weapon. If they ever got that close, Israel would most likely blow up the facility where it was being made, as we keep them equipped to do such things for us and themselves. Do you stir up such things for yourself, or do you work for someone. Surely you don't believe Bush/Cheney after their fairy tales about Saddam's nuclear weapons, do you?

Iran, behind our backs, sends arms to militants who's sole aim is to bring the US down. We would be more threatened.
