I, while I think it would be unelectable, would love to see a democratic ticket of Hillary/Obama ticket in 08. I think with Hillary's experience it would be a successful presidency. and also set up an Obama presidency in 2016. Both are viable candidates for president in 08. I think the country would move forward with either one. Instead of backwards like it has the last 6 years. The reason that I would pick Hillary in 08 over Obama is Hillary is a strong and very intelligent woman that is not afraid to stand up for what is right. She would have an excellent adviser in her husband, the last legally elected president and also the most successful at running the business of the country in over 40 years.

Hilary has the political chops but she is so hated by so many people (just read some posts here on Yahoo Answers...and it isn't just the fruitcakes, I have neighbors who think she's the anti-Christ) that she would have difficulty being an effective President unless she had a significant Democratic majority in both the House and the Senate.
I wish Obama had more experience but his record is clean (or as clean as anyone coming out of the Chicago policial stew can be) and he has a gift for forming alliances.

Clinton has the experience and brass to pull it off, except that she's too polarizing. Barack has the charisma and brains, but could use a tad more experience. I definitely think Kerry needs to bow out gracefully, he seems to have a knack for putting his foot in his mouth and making Karl Rove smile.
I would also back Howard Dean, John Edwards, Tom Daschle, or Russ Feingold. The Republicans are so amazingly corrupt or inept, these days, I'm not too worried.

I won't, in reality, vote for any of them. But if I had to choose between them, then I'd choose Obama. Primarily because I want to prove you wrong that "whites in the congress would eat him alive." I would want him in the Oval Office for the sake of proving that race relations have improved dramatically since the 60s and the 80s and even since the 90s.

How about Hillary Clinton for President and her running mate would be Barrack Obama. That would be history in the making if they win. First woman President and first black/white minority V.P.

Barack Obama would make a better President. He is aware of big issues like illegal immigration and the war in Iraq, and weaning the United States dependence on oil, while trying to develop alternative energy sources Overall, he is honest about his mistakes. For more information about Obama, read his book, The Audacity of Hope.

H. Clinton for the obvious reasons: she is a woman, she knows the issues, understands government. Whether or not you agree, she does know what she is doing.
B. Obama lacks experience, however, I could see him as a vice presidential candidate. He has candor that people appreciate.
I'm still waiting to see if hand-puppet Bush knows what's going on?

When I was in grade school over 60 years ago, they told us that ANY ONE could become President. I did not, at the time, believe it. Unfortunately I was wrong.
