Start off with 1 teaspoon per gallon and work up to 3 teaspoons per gallon in 12 hour increments. Here's an article on treating ich with salt that will walk you through it.

there are various distinctive the right thank you to discern the dazzling length of tank for fish. The one million pound of fish to one million gallon of water is in many circumstances used for ponds or foodstuff fish. For goldfish raised in a tank i like to apply one million inch of goldfish to 2 gallons of water.
