one year away from your mate is a long time, if he loves you he will wait, if he doesn't....well.. you know the rest.

My question would be, for what reason are you taking a year long "vacation." Who can afford that? and if you can, why isn't your spouse going with you? Now if your husband or you are going to war, or overseas, I would hope that they wouldn't meet someone else, but it has been known to happen. Anyways, if you were on vacation for a year, who is to say you wouldn't have a fling or two or five?

it depends on the way your relationship is going if you guys have a very close and lovin relationship i dont think you mate will cheat but u can never be to sure. Talk to your mate about it tell em how u feel.

If he would really love me, I don't think he would go with somebody else, but it requires of strong people with a deep desire to make a relationship work when you're apart for a long time

I guess that would depend on where your "vacation" was and why you were going. If your going off to war, then they'll wait for you. If your going to Paris or Europe for the fun of it, they're not going to wait around.

it depends but usually if you are gone a whole year ...things happen. if you hang on to each other it might cause a harsh breakup but if you decide to keep it open for a year and when you come back rekindle things it might be better but then again he/she could find another.

hyyyyyyyyyyy ....i'm not gonna see my guy for another 6 yrs ..we are in 2 diffrent countries but im still not at all scared that he'd leave me ..depends on how strong your relationship and how much you trust each other...heck if you love him and he loves you why the hell do you think he'll leave you .
