Sorry in advance because I practically have no info.

The song I'm looking for is a classic song from 50's 60's(?). It's only instruments with saxaphone/brass dominating the majority of the song. It is a very famous tune and most people would recognize it if they heard it.

If you can think of any songs that fit this description please tell me. Any song you can think of will help. Thanks

Yakety Sax? Whipped Cream? There are so many.

Check out amazon.com and listen to some clips from Herb Alpert CDs. This worked for me more than when I had no idea what song I was looking for.

Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass perhaps? Maybe "A Taste of Honey" or "The Lonely Bull" ? Herb played trumpet and his songs were mostly instrumental.
