My vehicle is a 1990 F150 s-cab 5.0L V8 with dual in tanks. I am trying to figure out if there is an inline fuse because I found an open circuit in a wire behind the fuel tank selector switch. I fixed it and now the truck just cranks over, nothing more. So I then did a test on running the fuel pump continuously with the engine off by grounding the fuel pump on the DLC connector. This test also failed. I also checked the inertia switch it turned out to be fine. I grabbed a volt meter and checked for voltage at the fuel pumps. I got nothing there. I am out of ideas. Any opinions or ideas greatly appriciated.Thanks.

I checked the fuse block and there is no fuse for the fuel system. It would only have a fuse for a diesel 7.5L.

The fuse is usually in the fuse block...Or can try the fuel pump relay under the hood. Or a thing called a CCRM(Constant Control Relay Module). Not sure exactly where they are located on your truck.

Hi.....Still having problems huh?

I'm running out of possibilities.

I've been sitting here, thinking of options.............

Sorry......Coming up blank.........

Check for continuity between where the inertia switch is, and fuel pump power wire is at the pump.
If nothing, string a new wire.????????
