NBA Dunk competitions need stars....
Andre Iguodala, certainly
Josh Smith, absolutely
Vince Carter, wishful thinking, but remember what he did in the one dunk contest he did participate in,
Lebron James...I'm sure he could do well for himself
Jason Richardson...Former Champion...
Remember the dunk contest in its glory years featured superstars, "Nique", Jordan...a dunk contest needs a star, otherwise it struggles to live up to its hype...

I swear to god dude, ive been saying the EXACT same thing since last year.
James White and Carney are going to be insane in the dunk contest. I mean, white with the freethrow line through the legs, and carney taking off a good foot and a half beyond the freethrow line and just barely missing it, theyre going to tear it up.
then iguodala's gonna come in with some crazy inventive thing like last year and blow every one away.
and josh smith.. well.. he's so classy, he can basically pull off whatever dunk he wants without a single complaint.
so pumped for this yrs dunk contest.

I think Igoudala should of won last year because When he and Nate Robinson went into sudden death, Robinson should of been given a zero, it took him about 20 to 30 attempts just to land the winning dunk. witch was alright but I would of gave him a zero because he took to long. I guess a player gets as many retrys as they want to. But I would love to see him in it this year because I loved that one dunk he did when he had Iverson throw it off the back of the backboard, and him starting out of bounds going and getting it, and throwing it down, and unlike Nate Robinson, it only took Igoudala, 3 attempts.
The worst part is Nate Robinson will contend this year because he is the defending dunk champ, and you always have to have the defending champ compete and the dunk contest.
I would like to see Josh Smith come back again, he was there last year, but he tried to do the free throw line dunk, that's why he didn't go past round 1. But he in my opinion is the best dunker because he gots incredible hops, and with a long wing span he has got to be the best.
for the fourth and final dunker they should have Lebron be in it since he should have been in it last year, and he is compared to MJ, and MJ was in the dunk contest. It makes me think, maybe he is waiting so long to enter because he is taking his time making up incredible dunks. Oh I cant wait.

- Jason Richardson. Back to back champ of past years... The dude was just born to dunk.
- Nate Robinson. The champ has gotta come back. Plus it's just hilarious each time he dunks it...he's just so short.
- LeBron James. Everyone wants to see him...he just won't go.
- Kobe Bryant. My favorite player, plus he hasn't been to this thing for a while. His dunking ability is very underrated because of everything else he does.

I hope LeBron finally does it this year. THAT would get ratings. And I agree, Iguodala should've won last year.
