No. I don't keep a journal or diary. I did at one time before the age of 10, on and off, over the course of a handful of years I believe. Since then, i've tried to on several occasions, only to abandon it because I found the statements i wrote were repititious and boring. I soon found a day's record was worthless and frustrating. I turned to random, haphazard, experimental "poetry." Over time, i've lost touch with it as well as my brain often ceases to function properly. The journals i wouldn't share, unless for a specific reason or day, as i'm very selective about these things. The poetry, for the most part, is or has been a part of my personal website, and therefore for the eyes of anyone that stumbles across or intentionally finds themselves there. I don't plan to keep a journal in the future, unless asked to do so with specific instruction.

I don't keep a diary, someone would find it because theres no where to hide it. Maybe I should start though. The one day share that with somone close thing isn't such a bad idea

I keep a journal and it has gotten me into trouble but I find it to be therapeutic. I don't always have someone to talk to so I write things down. I think if I wasn't here one day my diaries would make very interesting reading for some.

I have several online journals, I've used them all up except for one. More like "share with the world" type person- no one bothers to read them because my journals are on InsaneJournal.

I do keep a journal, but don't enter things every day. I'm not planning on sharing it with anyone close.

Yes I have been keeping a journal since junior high school. I hope that one day my kids will read them when I'm gone and know who I really was.

When I was younger, I had a "dear diary", but as I got older, I didn't have the time to write in one, but it's a good thing to do, as long as it doesn't land in the wrong hands.

I do not keep a journal....because one day I may contridict myself on many things I write....besides...I like to look towards the future rather than remember my (not so great) past.

I realized the written word can be read by others, even if by accident. Now I write things on notepads, transfer things I want to really keep to another notebook, and shred the non-keepers.
