I thought this would help support your statement. You're definitely right though.

P.S. Yahoo is not all that great at responding to things that are reported. As you can see.... this question is still there.

I'm with social science lady. The dangerous racists are the articulate ones, the ones who forming political groups under the guise of respectability. The people on this board are no threat as if they get caught they computer records will be searched and their comments used against them.

I think it's a good thing that we all see first hand that bigotry is still a big issue in this country. I can't tell you how many times people have said "people aren't racist anymore," to me. That's just as infuriating. What's wonderful to see are the number of people who speak out against these lame comments.

I'm not going to go the route that I feel sorry for them, because I don't. Why bother? But I hope people continue to flag these individuals.

Yes it is very sad that racists are allowed to corrupt this forum. It makes one not want to log in and answer questions in an attempt to help others. This once was a fun activity - not it seems one has to endure garbage before getting to something more tangible.

Racism and the promotion of hate is inexcusable anywhere. There is only one race in the eyes of God and that's the human race. I've flagged as abuse more than 1 question for racist remarks, slurs and the promotion of hatred and, if necessary, I will do so again

I've been reported for nothing a couple of times and these people seem to be getting away with ridiculous comments.
Please only report the truly nasty stuff.
And please encourage Yahoo to get back to us when we ask for some justification as to why these trivial matters are getting reported.

True there are a lot of racists and reporting them to YAnswers is an exercise in futility as they could not give a damn...

In my opinion, the real racists are not on this site, there are one or two who pretend to be but they are just that, pretenders. They try to say outrageous things to wind every body up. But there is no substance to them

Yes, that's why there is a feature that you can use to flag abuse. Once flagged, someone will review the question/answer to determine what should be done with it. If you don't take the time to flag things, then it would be an even sadder situation.
