UMMM Actually, myspace does not suck completely.
Anyone who says that myspace sucks completely just dosent have any friends. Because, myspace is for friends to keep in touch with eachother. BUT they have no friends, so it sucks to them.

Here are the Pros: There have been people that i have become good friends with at work, but they quit/got fired. I would not have any way to keep in touch with them. That is where myspace comes handy! If you are friends with someone, but you aren't close enough to be calling/texting them, then you probably would be close enough to talk to them online or on myspace.
Myspace is a tool that lets people keep in touch with people that they wish they could be in closer touch with. Maybe they are not formal enough friends to be talking on the phone, but they certanly are friendly enough to keep in touch on myspace.

After you graduate, most people say they loose contact with their high school friends. Well, not now because of myspace! People can keep their friends updated even if they are sepirated all around the world. They can upload new pics, and notice new changes. Say they dyed their hair, you will see the new pic, and know that they dyed their hair. If you lost contact, you wouldnt know that they dyed their hair.

SO myspace has MANY pros.

Cons are anyone can see it. So dont put stuff like "yea i got so high last night" if you dont want your parrents to know that you got high last night, because they will see it and then find out.

Pros: Keep in touch with old friends, have your own webpage, make new friends, have something to keep you entertained, share pictures and music with your friends

Cons: Risk of those online predators, annoying spam from people who you sometimes didn't even know were on your friends list, having it take over your life, getting annoying chain letters

There's probably a lot more but that's pretty much all I could think of right now. Personally I don't even use myspace because I find it to tedious to maintain and I just don't have the time for it at the moment. I also think that it's just a complete waste of time since I could be doing more important things, but hey that's all just my opinion.

Myspace is a great place to express yourself and to keep in contact with friends. Just be careful not to give out too much information, cause you never know who could be looking! There is an option somewhere to set your myspace profile to private, that way, only people on your friends list can look at it. It's the perfect way to keep strangers from getting any information you dont want them to have. I have a myspace and I enjoy using it very much. I've been able to find and keep in contact with people that I've lost touch with over the years! :) It also builds your confidence when people say nice things about your pictures! hehe. good luck :)

Pros:
* great place to learn some basic web design
* free
* friends can stay connected especially if they don't live in the same town
* people can see you likes/dislikes
* great place to be creative

Cons:
* People can read your profile who you don't know if you don't lock it
* too many young people put too much personal information on their pages
* stalkers / perverts/ pedophiles roam these pages looking for victims
* many teenagers use this area to "express"themselves against their peers which results in harrasment issues.

knowing both sides of myspace is a great thing for parents and teachers to understand and be aware of. Like everything else on the internet, it is only "evil" or "bad" if we do not take the time to teach people how to use it correctly.

PRO'S
-something to do on the net
-a chance to express yourslef
-Other people get to see you around the world
-It can be fun designing it

CON'S
-Hackers!! (people get on your account, get your personal info and can use it against you)
-Other people get to see you around the world
-You should change it alot and it can take alot of your time away

As long as you dont put any pictures of yourslef or put any personal info ( where u live, phone number, school exc.) it is pretty fun. You can also try a site called piczo and its the same but more safe!

permit's see now. What did he somewhat do? Did he create the stress? Did he authorize the learning? Did he plan the logistics? Did he authorize the investment? Did he plan the operation? i will supply Obama credit whilst he stands in front of a microphone and says, "the militia merits each and all the credit for this. All I did became supply them the ok". Obama supplies the orders to take out some pirates and he's retaining us risk-free? Bush supplies the orders to take out Saddam Hussein and his sons and the place have been you?

pros's
you can connect with friends on yet another semi-personal way.

Con's
stalkers and people who just wont go away.
someone may get information that you dont want them to have.

pro's
myspace now has blockers, that way ANYONE who doesn't know you ( either your last name or email address) will not be able to SEE or even KNOW your profile exists.

Its very easy to be anonymous, you dont even have to use your real name. A nickname is good.

con's
its not addictive anymore, so therefore not as fun.

you'll get bored quickly.

toodles.

- watching cool videos and listening to music
- You can make it so only people who are your friends can read your site.

cons:
-People can target younger kids
-There's no way for myspace to check your age so you can type in whatever age even if it's a lot older/younger than you really are
