went to startup in programs but not much in there.
do i have to get into the .exe stuff
cause i hate messing with that stuff

ive gone into msconfig
hate the trial and error way
delete reboot delete reboot

hit contol alt delete and go to task manager, click on the processes tab on this tells you the programs that are running the background of your computer. it will say the user running the program and if is says you on that line than end the process.
be carefull though only close programs that you know what it is.
don't close ccapp.exe or explorer.exe both are very important. just be carefull. this will also make the computer faster as well

most programs give you the option to turn them off on startup in either the tools or options
