i'm a straight person, but from what i've heard, you shouldn't do that until you are completely comfortable with doing it. don't feel too rushed! and it depends on how old you are, many people struggle with their sexuality for a while before discovering what they really are. but whatever that is, make sure you are ready for it and accept yourself before you tell other people. and try to only tell people who will accept it when you first come out.

You would hate for your family and friends not to know the real you...know that those that love you will not stop loving you for choosing to share this part of your life with them...
There will definitely be an adjustment timeframe for those people around you...but you will feel freer and better when you do...
There is no way to do it...there is no textbook....take a deep breath and do it.....

Open the door, take one step at a time. Close the door behind you. Don't blurt it out. If people ask you, then tell them you are gay. If they don't ask, no need to be yelling it out.

easy, just come out. seriously, if ur family is the type that is against gays and lesbians, then u should wait until u move out of the house so that u can avoid conflict with your parents.

if your young enough that you have to rely on support from your parents I'd wait. unless you have very open parents then it shouldn't be a problem . just tell them who you are
