ABOUT RIVALDO;
Brazilians are very good on playing footbal. It is why lots of players are around the world, playing in others team. And it is why we have some problems when they get together again, here in Brazil, to train for the world cup. They feel difficulties to get along again.
I am pround of many things in my country. Footbal is just a small part of this.

Good luck!

Having lived and worked in other countries I can't say that the English stand out particularly in either a negative or positive fashion. Every nationality has its good and bad qualities. We have our fair share of snobs I suppose. If I wanted to pick a real gripe though it'd be our complete lack of support for education particularly in the lower classes (I grew up on a council estate). If people want to go to university they are treated like scroungers despite the fact that everyone gets loans that aren't even enough to pay the rent, if you want to do a PhD people want to know when you'll join the real world - whatever that is. When I worked in China people worked hard to get an education and were proud of what they achieved. Here (not everyone by any means) you get slated if you use words of more than one syllable and people think it's an achievement to fail their exams. Sorry, but I'm a teacher and sometimes the struggle to get people through the education system can be defeating.
But although I lived abroad I loved England too much to stay away.

My god! Where do I start.
My shame of being British (English) has resulted in me not even wanting to live in the country. The narrow-mindedness and constant whinging are the most obvious. That would mean that the problem is more the attitude than the behaviour.
Mainly as well because the English don't act - they will happily accept poor quality products and service, pay over the odds for them and only complain to friends and family.
Surely the Brazilians are better...

Well my Fiancee is English(born in England) and I have to admit that he do have a temper at times. They are very tempermental and can get mad easily if they get messed over, but he have a hold on things and since we've been together he has calmed down alot. He's actually very gentle and sweet as long as you dont mess with his family or him, like anyone. He is also mixed with some other things like German, Italian,Indian,and of course lives here in American and I know that English and German attitude dont mx very well at time. He has never done anything to me but I have seen him in action. But I love him though.

I am Irish, but now living in the UK.

I am proud to be Irish, and love my country, but since leaving, I have observed that the Irish are indeed a terrible nation of begrudgers. (not every single one of course, wouldn't want to generalise,lol!)

Every country has a stereotype or two!Whether " Irish are drunk", "Spanish are loud", "British are soccer hooligans", "Americans are not very clever", "Canadians are all friendly."

Nothing holds true all the time!

Porra, ha ha. I'm not English, but I do find most of them to be okay. The ones I don't are usually snobs, arrogant yobs or anti-Irish with unbelievably backward views.
