I know that women and men have different role in war right now but should they not also be available for a draft? Isn’t that fair? their should be a pregnancy clause but their are not registered at all now.

Well, I don't think there should be a draft at all, but, yes, women should be up for selective service. I say this as a young woman who is in general very against war and the whole military-industrial complex.
Modern warfare in general does not rely on muscle anymore. Yes, it's important, but not as much as back when we were all hacking at each other with swords. Brute strength was a necessity when the soldier had to do all the work. Now that gunpowder and computers do a lot of it, it's simply not as important. And when you want equality, you have to take the bad with the good. Yes, it sucks, and I don't want to worry about drafts or working a crap job to make ends meet, either, but that's the price for getting to participate as a full member of society.

There shouldn't be a draft for anyone.
No, women should not be required to register. Women have babies and quite frankly, someone needs to be left behind to manage every day life should their partners be summoned by Big Brother (God forbid).
We can't all be machine gun toting soldiers my friend.

i dont think so because not all girls are cut out for hard labor. i mean really come on guys, when you are fighting at war, do you want the person next to you be a 120 pound girl who can barely even hold up the 65lb pack on her back? do u want to be the one carrying her and her pack when she falls to the ground because she cant hold up her own weight? and...most guys would say ya they want girls to register for the draft, but they will be the first ones to criticize, taunt, and sometimes even rape, that girl when they are all on the battlefield. i find it funny how guys dont want girls to play with them in football, but they do want them to register for the draft.

No. because if many women were killed in war their would be a shortage of them, causing man to turn to man for manly love, but when men are killed in war the men that are left have less competition for womanly love. So, males dead in war is good for surviving males, all the women dead in war causes rampant homosexuality, no good !

I come from arabia, end I tink women shood only be in burka end in herem. Me husband tell me it shood not be other wey. Militery service is only for de men. Arabia hes better military den Amerika enyway. mor disipleen. Amerika is only good becaus it big.
