for example does success come when people cooperate or when people compete, and i pick when people cooperate success comes but should i talk about the other perspective the competetion one?

From what I've been told, it is always better to take one hard stance on an issue, both in class, and for the SAT's. So far I've gotten an 11 and 12 on the essay, both strongly focusing on one topic, also with such a short amount of time it's a whole lot easier to stick to one side so you can throw out things more quickly. Also, from what I've learned from several college advisors, quantity is a big deal to the SAT, so you definitely want to fill both pages up. Hope this helps

They are evaluating your writing, not so much about your answer. So if you can write effectively by talking about both perspectives, go for it. Don't waste time worrying about your "opinion," just write an essay that clearly states what you mean to say. Use all the writing tricks & tools you've learned and relax.
