1967 Gear box?

Does any one know how to take out the gear box in a 1967 mustang it is a manual steering box.

pull out the steering column, take off the pitman arm and unbolt the steering box and lift it out.

brake the Pittman arm lose and then take the three bolts that is bolting the gear box to the frame out you put the new one in the same way.

You'll need a Pittman arm puller and ball joint separator. Auto zone has a lend lease program. You can get it there, use it, then return it. Without the pullers your job will be near impossible.
