I heard that tights were banned from the NBA, but I was watching the Sioux Falls Skyforce (D League) practice and one of their players wore tights. Does anyone know?

Yes, the tights were banned. I think officially it was because the league wanted to enforce stricter uniform standards, but it was really because Stern thought some players were wearing them becasue they liked the way the tights looked, which is nuts because no man wears pantyhose for their looks.

He is afraid that all the black people in the NBA wearing tights will negatively affect the league by causing a bad influence.

You know, with all those people walking around in the ghetto with tights, it could grow to be a major problem in american society.
