When I was a child, I think around 4 or 5, our family moved to an old farmhouse in an old new england town. My Dad was in the trades and a tough character, not afraid of anything. My Mom had 4 kids by then and would protect them like a mother bear. Well, after we moved in, strang things began to happen. 1. My older brother would cry and ask not to be left in his room. He saw his trucks moving on the floor and saw a large 'smokey' white ring at the bottom of his bed with a half body aparition in it. My Dad told him to stop exagerating. 2. My younger brother was born, and a bat got in the house and lied across his forehead with its wings spread out covering his whole forehead with this body. 3. My younger sister was attacked by our saint bernard and still bears the scars of two fangs on top of her head and two fangs under her chin. She was fine but we had give the dog away. Finally we all were sleeping in one room, the living room - the whole family. My Dad spend a night up in my brothers room, and by the next day, we moved in with my grandparents and sold the house. I still remember the traumatized atmosphere. The house did not sell for atleast 15 years after we sold it to a couple who tried to sell but could - then moved out. I am now >40 and still remember all this and my parents do not want to talk about it to this day. Very Creepy

I think I have. I think my mom's house is haunted by one or several cats or catlike beings/ghosts/whatever you call them. I have never had any trouble in all of the random places, many houses, beds, or sofa's that I have slept on, but at my mom's house I wake up rather often with the idea that there is a cat in my room, either walking right beyond the step on one side of my room, or a mother and kittens regally parading through. Never anywhere else had this happened, ever. And, my mom, who doesn't really like cats, actually adopted two a few months ago out of the blue. And, when we got the house, there was cat hair in all the cracks between the carpet and the walls and it didn't go away even after many carpet cleanings and almost six years of there being no living cat in the house. So, though it may sound weird, my mom's house is inhabited by spiritual cats.

Yes, the strange case of three ghostly encounters involving Ebenezer Scrooge is well documented, I think they even made a movie out of it?
