Humans have 46 chromosomes, not 26.

23 come from mom, 23 from dad.

Both daughter cells have exactly the same number of chromosomes the mother cell had, both have 23 pairs, or 46 chromosomes

DNA is organized into 23 pairs of chromoses, 21 autosomes, and X and Y chromomsomes (X and X in females). Each chromosome contains many genes that code for proteins.

3 sounds like a phenomenon called pseudodominance, where a "masking" dominant gene becomes deleted, and the recessive allele shows its phenotype even in the heterozygous state.

Humans have 23 pairs of chromsomes, or 46 in total, half of them come from your mother. So, the answer is 23.

1. The chromosome structure of both will match that of the parent cell.
2. This is too long to include here -- see your textbook.
3. Environmental factors.
4. Question is not correct. Humans have 22 pairs of autosomes, plus x and either y or another x. The answer is 23 -- the same number as from the father.

the first two cells formed after the sperm and egg merge ( meiosis) are called the daughter cells.

DNA (Deoxyribonucleac Acid) and RNA (Ribonucleic Acid) are the two types of cells ( called Polymers) that are in all cells.
DNA is found in the nucleus of the cell.
RNA is found in the cytoplasm.

DNA contains genetic codes that make RNA which then turns those codes into amino acids that protein is made from.
Think of DNA as the blueprints for making your body and the RNA as the bricks and mortar. best as I can make it.

best I can do you for I'm sorry and GOOD LUCK.

I will comply with your wish for no links. I understand you want an answer you can copy word for word so you don't have to think. My answers are less than four lines each as you asked.

What I learned about the topic came about because I did my homework. I would hate for you to remain ignorant, so I will allow you to do your own homework. The answers are in the book. Read it.

If you put as much time into looking for the answers you would probably have them by now and you'd probably remember them too. So, why not do your own homework instead of asking us to do it for you?
