Soooo....where did you come up with the idea that "so many people hate blacks"? Seriously, in America, if there's any discrimination going on, it's not going on against blacks. I mean, it's OK to have a black college, or a scholarship for only blacks, or to let a black get into a program with lower test scores, but try having a white only college, a scholarship only for whites, or saying that a lower test score was alright because someone was white and there will be shouts of outrage. Racism! Will be cried. See how they put us down! and other things like that. So, I ask you, why do people hate the KKK? Because they are rampant racists who should all be kicked out of the U.S. Why do people hate blacks? Because there is too much racism coming from them and because all of the cries of "I am black, therefore I am a victim!"

I am happy to not be a member of any hate organization. The fact is that history has seen the unnecessary murder and hatred against human beings of different color. Upbringing and media have not made the skin color issue any easier to deal with or see in our world today. The bottom line is that certain individuals have choosen or decided to hate for their own reasons. The way i see it is, humans teach humans how to behave in life and in the world today. No human being is born with hate, that is unfortunately taught behaviour. My belief is if a human is a human, then this means she or he are HUMAN the color of all colors.

You cannot be serious!! i think that if there were more open minded people out there then there wouldn't be such a problem. I have many friends that are of a different race. In fact one of my best friends is black. I love her! And so do my kids. My kids have not once asked why another person is different, and I am so proud of that! I think that people do tend to stereotype races. Sad thing is you don't think of the white person in poverty. Which is ridiculous. You don't think of a black person in law. BS! There are bad people out there everywhere. No matter what color, or ethnic background. Okay so you hear drive bys what do you think? But have you ever heard of a black person eating another human being? What race really is different then? We are all the same on the outside, it all depends on the person and who they are on the inside.

"African Americans have significantly lower levels of vitamin D in their blood serum than whites because higher levels of melanin -- the pigment that provides color to skin"

Is it possible the older generations are the ones holding the hate? Since they grew up in the times of harsh discrimination and were taught to think this way? I personally don't, but I have seemed to notice it slowly disintigrating as time progresses. It could also contribute to the stereotype, people refering to the African American race as poor, violent, etc. We can hope this will change more with time, we have come a long way, haven't we?

I think a lot of it is either ignorance or just pure hatred. Many people look down on blacks because they think they all commit crime and are all lazy or some other sterotype. Or they just want to feel better about themselves. For example the Irish and Italian immigrants were eventually accepted into white American society on the premises that at least they weren't black. I've ran into some black people who hate whites because they say whites hate them. Its a viscious cycle that needs to be broken.

it beats the heck out of me! i would like to know why i hear blacks calling each other "ni**er" when i was raised not to even whisper the word--i think it has to do with the arrogance of the white races. to alot of people who are white--you are not even a member of the human race unless you are WHITE. i was raised white but i only recently found out that iam 1/4 black--i think iam the only one in the family to be happy about it! why do people look down on other races then their own? is it like "be true to your school" kind of loyalty? or they fear of races mixing and making babies together?
did this come from GOD? or out of hell? or from some childish immature notion that anyone who is differnt must be inferior?
i myself find black men more attractive--maybe thats it!!!! it is a fear of people losing the opposite sex to another race! so what do u do? you raise your children to hate other races--especially black! i thank God for the 1/4 black in my blood--also for the navajo and the mexican and the irish thats in there too. i am happy with what iam--and i think the more people become happy with whatever they are--or find out they are--the better off this world will be!
