can't help with the title I'm afraid, there are just too many soulful piano singer, american etc everyone from Neil Diamond , stevie Wonder and virtually every band has a track where the singer is accompanied by a keyboard or piano. My advice would be, if you are so desperate, would be to find out which radio station the restaraunt was tuned into at the time you were there and phone them up , ask for their playlist for that show and eliminate - best of luck! just thought , on the offchance, maybe Randy Newman

The names have long previous thoroughly. Sorry, i can not help you. i will grant the names of a few very advantageous cello and violin concertos in case you think of that would take your strategies off it.

Or it may be "That's Just the Way It Is" by Bruce Hornsby and The Range as that's always being used as background music. Try going on one of those music sites and see if you can get a demo

Try "Piano Man" by Billy Joel or "Candle in the Wind" by Elton John?

Other than that, you'd really need to be more specific!

I was thinking of Billy Joel too (as did Demnity), as most of his songs are accmpanied by himself on his piano.

You could go down to Tower Records and listen to his Greatest Hits album.
