Green means very low corruption, and deep red means a high level of corruption:

But do you think that is accurate? I think America should be in the green because we are NOT a corrupt government. We should be thankful that we have such a great leader of our nation.

I think it looks accurate. However Russia might be bit darker right now!

America is where it should be. Unfortunately theres tons of money in politics, and that leads to corruption. The idea that govt officals can vote themselves pay raises is corrupt enough.

Then people like Hastings who have been IMPEACHED who get elected to congress afterwards!

You're just asking for a controversy with that last statement about a great leader of our nation. But it's only worth ignoring, it's definitely not worth getting into a neverending debate about it.

Honestly, I think that's pretty accurate - yeah, the U.S. has it's problems with people like Senator Foley, and with some corrupt police departments, like in NY and LA, but compared to Russia or China? The U.S. has it really good. And this is coming from someone who lived in Russia for the first years of her life - and I wish Americans would stop whining so much about the corruption in their government. They really don't have any idea.

Please do some research. We have a rather corrupt government here in the USA. Try reading the golden fleece awards as a primer. Then try looking at some of our state and local governments. Try Atlanta and Louisiana to start out with. Then try looking up Halliburton. We are not nearly as bad as most of the world, but we are not in "the green" either.
