I tried airing them in the sun and powder..but they still smell bad.

Dr Scholl's has some things for foot odor. Also I think I saw some little sacs of deodorizer that you put in your shoes when not in use that absorbs the odors. I have to check but I think it was at mileskimball.com.

spray insides with disinfectant spray- lysol etc. or CAREFULLY with a bit a water and bleach, and an old toothbrush or q tips clean out the insides.

you can use some products like bakingsoda but its speacialy for shoes!
