It all started when I was talking with my best friend's boyfriend online and we were talking about how last year he sat down on a piece of gum and it smeared all over his pants. I told him that I saw the gum like 10 min. before he sat on it but I had forgotten to tell him it was there. Then he got really mad at me and called me a b*tch. And he said i deserved to be called a b*tch. I didn't yell at him for it then, we just kept on with the conversation. But I decided that he shouldn't be allowed to do that, so I asked him why he did it, maybe yelled just a little bit, the next day and he said he was sorry. I don't know if I should tell my friend about it because this is the first one that she has liked in a looooong time who hasn't been a complete slug. She's so happy! I don't want to ruin it for her but I don't know if she would want me to not tell her about it. What if she finds out some other way and gets mad at me? Should I tell her or what? I'm so confused!

Girl, let that childish behavior go. Your girlfriend is happy, why cry over spilled milk and risk ruining a friendship over some bull crap. Why are you "chatting" with her boyfriend online anyway? Sounds like you really are a b*tch.

First of all, You should have responded to him immediately by saying "I would never talk like that to you, so I won't tolerate that behavior from you or anyone.
Don't bother to ask why, It's just a stupid remark and there is no answer for making it.
I would not tell your friend.

Don't tell her..She's happy! If she gets mad at you 'cuz she finds out, tell her that you just didn't wanna tell her 'cuz she was so happy & you didn't wanna ruin her relationship with her boyfriend.
